Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus to carry His cross.
We adore You, Lord Christ, and we bless You
Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world.
As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus.
Luke 23:26.
Then He said to them all: “Those who would be my disciples must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
Luke 9:2.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost:
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
