Station 4

Jesus meets His mother.
We adore You, Lord Christ, and we bless You
Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world.
What can I say for you? With what can I compare you, O Daughter of Jerusalem? To what can I liken you, that I may comfort you, O Virgin Daughter of Zion? Your wound is as deep as the sea. Who can heal you?
Lamentations 2:13.
When Jesus saw His mother there, and the disciple whom He loved standing near by, He said to her, “Mother, here is your son,” and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
John 19:26-27.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen
