The Magnificat
The Magnificat found in Luke 1:46-55, is the hymn of thanksgiving and praised spoken by the Blessed Virgin Mary. This beautiful prayer is said at Evening Prayer.

Hail Mary
This ancient and treasured prayer is taken from the two accounts of Mary’s special place as the Mother of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of St Luke (chapter 1). The earliest version of this prayer is dated from around 400AD.
